My mom and dad loved him so very much. My mom would always check on him and stop by to say “Hi” she would always say Jean would remind her of her dad. You will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family. Jean was one of the greatest men I’ve ever known. I met him in 01 when I purchased my first home then few months later he became my boss. I loved to hear his stories of ww2 and how he come to this country. He inspired me to become an agent and he gave me amazing advice when I was a single mom. This would be the last time I would see him.

Jean was not only a dear friend but a member of our family!  Our children enjoyed visiting Jean from the time the could walk and talk!   They loved to tell him about their animals and accomplishments through the FFA!   More recently they enjoyed spending Christmas Day cooking with him and telling Jean about their jobs!   He would often tell Jeff and I how proud he was of the kids and the adults they have become!   Jean we miss seeing you and joking with you!  Love and miss you!  

For more than 50 years Jean has been a friend!  From being a kid on the ranch hanging out with my dad and Jean to working in business with him!   I was his processor for his lambs for years!  Coming to my wedding, spending time on the ranch at family and friend gatherings! As a realtor he was able to sell our business, get us into our forever home and spend several Christmases with the family enjoying the kids!   Jean has always had a special place in his heart for the Briggs kids!   Helping them attend conferences and encouraging them through college!   In the last 5 months, I spent endless hours with Jean enjoying his stories of his life!  Jean you will be missed but, never forgotten!  Love you always my friend!

Vacations with Jean were the best. He always wanted us to have an amazing time. Whenever we would go to Vegas we would end up at the Tournament of Kings. So grateful for every trip, and moment we had together that gave us the opportunity to form a bond that created a lifelong friendship. 

Here Jean celebrates the wedding of the child he raised from the age of 8 years old. That day he commented how wonderful it was to see how each of the 3 boys he raised had grown into adults. Throughout his life, it was the memories that Jean cherished the most.

From 2001, Jean raised 3 boys from the ages of 12, 11, and 8. In this photo Jean sits with Scarlette, who is the next generation.  He would always look at her with such joy, love, and care… even after she accidentally broke his TV at our 2017 Family Thanksgiving Dinner. Luckily for Scarlette, it was Black Friday and the TV was replaces by one of her uncles that same day lol. 

Ana’s mom, Teresa, and Jean had a strong friendship that lasted until her passing. At family gatherings in Jean’s home they would sit in the living room chatting away and laughing. They are both now reunited, enjoying each others company while watching over their loved ones. ♥️

Good memories are worth remembering. Some are also worth framing. A framed photo of Jean & Ana on Jean’s desk at home. 

Jean and Ana went from a romantic 10 year relationship to a friendship. Even though some relationships aren't everlasting those relationships can bring other lifelong friendships.

I was a customer of Jeans for over 20 yrs. Even though I lived in Washington state, he treated me as a neighbor.  He was ALWAYS a pleasure to talk to and was very very aware  of the area and the best at what he did.  I knew he was a very humble man and I was very saddened by his passing.
