Justiniano "Justin" Canoy Manapsal

Justiniano "Justin" Canoy Manapsal passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on September 5, 1931, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Justin was the son of Vicente and Basilia Manapsal. Shortly after his birth, he moved to the Philippines, where he began his life's journey.

Justin was a compassionate, responsible, kind-hearted, thoughtful, generous, loyal, and selfless individual. At the age of 17, he started working as a handyman, quickly proving himself to be a fast learner. His career spanned over 23 years at a cement company, where he consistently received awards and loyalty recognition. Although he worked overseas for a time, his devotion to his family brought him home.

He was married to his beloved Vilma for 58 years. Justin was blessed with nine children and numerous grandchildren, all of whom he deeply loved. His family was central to his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

In his personal time, Justin enjoyed listening to music, watching television, gardening, driving, and watching basketball. These activities brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life. His favorite hobbies were watching wrestling and boxing.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all friends and family who have offered comfort during this difficult time. Justin always encouraged his children to help out his beloved Vilma, a testament to his enduring love and devotion.

A visitation and memorial service will be held at Joshua Mortuary Palmdale, located at 3150 E Palmdale Blvd., Palmdale, CA 93550, on January 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Justin's legacy of kindness and devotion to family and friends will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
