It's been 2 years.  I've spent the better part of my working years with Kenny. He was 1 of a kind.  I couldn't say the same much for the ones he called family. He drove me than half way across the country to a family gathering or wedding,  he said they didn't want him there. Then back at home, his ex in-laws, who were still clinging to the picture,  broke into his unlocked trailer, picked up a cash box of 40k, and kicked him on the way out.

One of my only 2 friends left in life. I've spent more time with Kenny since the early 80s, than just about anyone, we worked together doing the same thing using the same tools. I used to ride over to his home when we were 20ish and we'd go riding together from there. He had a heart of gold, family to him was everything, it's all he talked about. He was a rare gem, I spent the last few years more closer than before, but not close enough. He was robbed Grand Theft, from someone he knew, and helped, and I know without a shadow of doubt who did it, he was unable to move, and they did that. Couple of days before he passed, he told me he was extremely lonely, and I'd made a point to stay with him longer,  but didn't get that chance. Maybe sooner than later, I'll get to follow him. Kenny my friend, you were loved by many, and myself and now missed.
