My Dearest Lottie,

I’ll never forget the day I met you. It was the first day of 3rd grade for Nicole and Kayla. Once we got the girls settled in and left the classroom, Taylor and I started chatting with you for a “few” minutes as we headed to our car. We talked as if we had known each other for years. And before I knew it, those “few” minutes had turned into about an hour. We said goodbye and got into our car. When we got in the car Taylor asked me, “Mom, who’s that lady?” I turned to her and said, “I don’t know, I’ve never seen her before in my life!” LOL! But that’s who you were…..outgoing, friendly and loving and once someone knew you, they knew you and didn’t forget you. I’m so glad God allowed us to cross paths so many years ago. I’m grateful and blessed to have had you in my life. Even though my heart aches, I rejoice knowing that you are absent from the body and present with the Lord! And my friend, there is NO better place you could be! We shared love, A LOT of laughter, joy and even tears (on occasion) and I will treasure all of those moments. I will miss that beautiful smile and big blue eyes more than you know and you will forever be in my heart. I love you my crazy Lottie girl!

Met Lottie in  Hardheim Germany I know she loved to dance with her husband.  We stayed in touch all this time, Lottie loved her little family so much, she always talked about Kayla how proud she was of her. Rest in peace my friend your friend Patci
