Nancy was a dear & beloved friend who we considered a family member. We are so saddened by her loss, leaving a huge gap in our hearts. We will miss the animal rescues, sports games (Nancy was a die-hard Giants and 49ers fan, so much so that we gave her a dammit doll to throw at the TV when the teams did not do so well. LOL), movies, all the good times by the pool... just the simple every day life together. Laughing with her when we hung Christmas lights, mirrors, shopping, Boo Night on the Boulevard, New Years Eve celebrations, etc. Coming home & Nancy not being here just doesn't seem right. Nancy was such a presence in the neighborhood - we could all depend on Nancy always being close by & always there to help out. Nancy was a dear friend to Mary Dyer. When Mary was terminally ill, Nancy would come to the house several times a day to sit with Mary, taking time to ensure her friend was getting through the day OK. She was an outstanding volunteer at the Antelope Valley Hospital gift shop. She used to get so tickled every year when she made top sales during the Christmas season. She didn't care about the 'prize'. She cared about helping others find that "special something" they were looking for. Her passing is such a great loss to so many; & to all the animal rescues she supported as well as her friends. She was such an advocate for the animals. She loved to be creative & took on redecorating her whole house. Aside from redecorating her house, she decorated our lives every day. Finally, we have to mention Charlie & Chloe, her two Grandchildren. They were her heart! She loved them so much! Nancy, here's to sending you a virtual huge bunch of daffodils & pansy's - some of your favorite flowers, along with all our love. May God provide you a classic Jaguar XJ6 convertible to drive around in Heaven with the top down, just the way you liked it! Cheers to you! Toast a glass of Pinot Grigio with us! Phoebe & Rod Mimbs, & the kids! Miss you & Love you forever!
