Reflection of Frankie Villegas's Life Dennis "Frankie" Villegas was born on March 31, 1981, in Oxnard, California, to Eric Villegas and Cynthia Villegas. He was the youngest of three sons and was deeply loved by his two older brothers, Travis and Ryan. From a very young age, Frankie shared an especially close bond with his brother Ryan. They were inseparable, more like best friends than brothers, and their relationship was filled with love, loyalty, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Frankie also loved his brother Travis very much and was always proud to support him throughout the years. Although Frankie was born in Oxnard, the family eventually returned to Granada Hills, where he was raised. At the tender age of three, Frankie and his brothers experienced the heartbreaking loss of his mother, Cindy. Though he was far too young to fully understand such a loss, he was blessed to be raised by his devoted father Eric, who loved and guided him throughout his life. Even though Frankie grew up without his mother by his side, he was surrounded by an abundance of love from family. He was especially blessed by the care and devotion of his Grandma Josie, Grandma Pat, and Grandpa Frank, along with his aunts, uncles, and extended family, all of whom loved him dearly. Frankie's life was a beautiful example of the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." He was raised with so much love, support, and encouragement, and it shaped him into the kind and loving man everyone knew. And as anyone can see from the photos, he was the cutest baby. Frankie attended the same schools as both of his parents, Eric and Cindy. He went to Granada Hills Elementary School, Patrick Henry Junior High School, and Granada Hills High School, where he graduated. During those years, he formed many meaningful friendships and remained close with many of his high school friends throughout his life. Family meant everything to Frankie. He was especially close to his cousins, who were more like best friends to him. He shared special bonds with Dustin, Mandy, Christopher, Ruben, Marlena, Kevin, Mike, and so many of his cousins on both the Villegas and Bowen family side. His family brought him so much joy, and those relationships filled his life with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Frankie also loved spending time with his Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Steve in Big Bear. Those times were very special to him and brought him happiness, peace, and cherished memories that he carried in his heart. Uncle Will and Aunt Teri always made sure Frankie and Ryan were included in family vacations and camping trips, creating memories Frankie treasured throughout his life. One of his most cherished childhood memories was camping in Yosemite with them, a time filled with joy, adventure, and the love of family. Frankie was truly one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. He was kind, loving, gentle, and always positive. He had a warm spirit that made people feel comfortable and cared for, and his smile could light up any room. He had a good heart, a calm strength, and a loving nature that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Frankie worked for Staples in Costa Mesa before joining Action Appliances, where he learned to repair and install appliances. He also worked as a roofer alongside his father, Eric. Eventually, Frankie began his career with the City of Burbank, where he took great pride in his role as a truck operator serving the public. Dedicated and dependable, Frankie quickly earned the respect of his coworkers. He was always willing to lend a hand and ultimately became a union representative, advocating tirelessly for his team. Through his commitment, reliability, and strong work ethic, Frankie advanced in his career and was admired for the pride he took in doing his best every day. Frankie had a deep love for sports, especially baseball, football, hockey and golf. He shared that passion with his father Eric and his brother Ryan, and together they created many unforgettable memories. They bonded over their love of sports and treasured their time together at Dodger games, where they held season tickets. Golf was also a beloved family tradition, especially on birthdays, Father's Day, and Ryan's birthday. A loyal L.A. fan through and through, Frankie had a deep love for the Dodgers, Kings, and Rams. His passion for sports extended beyond the stands-he was a talented baseball player himself, playing from T-ball through the age of 14. Primarily a catcher, Frankie was also a versatile, all-around utility player who could contribute anywhere on the field. His dad played an important role during those years, serving as both a coach and an umpire, which made the experience even more special. Frankie often played alongside his brother Ryan, making those years even more meaningful. Those days spent on the baseball field became some of the most cherished and meaningful memories of their childhood. As a teenager, Frankie loved supporting his oldest brother Travis, who was a popular DJ. He enjoyed going to Travis's events and being there with pride, always showing his love and admiration for his brother. Frankie's love for his family extended deeply to the next generation as well. He loved his brother Travis's son, Max, his beautiful nephew, so very much. He spoke about Max with such pride and absolutely adored him. Frankie also loved all of his nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. He cherished each of them and found so much joy in watching them grow, loving them with his whole heart. Above all else, Frankie will be remembered for the love he gave and the love he shared with his family and friends. The bond he had with Ryan was truly special, and the love between them will never be forgotten. Frankie's presence in this world was a gift, and his absence leaves a pain that words cannot fully express. Frankie, we will miss you forever and hold you close within our hearts, where you will remain always. Your memory will walk beside us throughout our lives until the day we meet again. Our love for you is eternal, and the bond we share with you will never be broken. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel, and you will be deeply missed forever.
