Born on May 28, 1951, in Torre Annunziata, Naples, Italy, Angelo immigrated to the United States as a young teenager and built a life defined by hard work, unwavering faith, and deep love for his family. He dedicated 41 years of service to the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District, where his strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to his community earned the respect of colleagues and friends.
After a courageous 17-year battle with cancer, Angelo faced his illness with remarkable strength, dignity, and resilience, inspiring all who knew him.
Above all, Angelo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He found great joy in spending time with his family and took immense pride in watching his children and grandchildren grow. There was never a moment when his eyes didn't light up at the sight of his grandchildren. The joy they brought to his heart was evident to everyone around him.
A man of deep faith, Angelo lived his life with quiet humility and a servant's heart. His devotion as a Catholic was reflected not only in worship but in action as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and a dedicated volunteer who faithfully visited local nursing homes to read Scripture and bring companionship to its residents. He also found great joy in woodworking and had a lifelong passion for soccer, spending decades both playing and watching the game he loved. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, generous spirit, gentle nature, and the love he shared with his family and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Deborah Cecco; his four children, Karyn Cecco, Joseph Cecco (Heather), Michael Cecco (Hiral), and David Cecco; his ten cherished grandchildren, Zoe, Zac, Carly, Natalie, Trevor, Connor, Lucas, Lily, Dylan, and Mia; his eight siblings, Ralph Cecco (Mimi), Vincent Cecco (Marlene), Anna Robbins(Ted), Francis Cecco (Mary), Anthony Cecco (Rosetta), Rosario Cecco, Ciro Cecco (Cindy), Adriana Custer (Tom); as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe and Anna Cecco.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, hospice team, and caregivers whose compassion and support brought comfort throughout Angelo's journey.
Though he will be deeply missed, his love, strength, and kindness will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
