Anthony P. Amedei

Anthony “Tony” P. Amedei, age 88, of Malvern, PA. passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Tony was the husband of Bella Lledo Amedei. He was born December 7, 1930 in Berwyn, PA.

A veteran of the Korean War, Tony was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the V.F. W. He was co-owner of the Coatesville Auto Body Shop before his retirement in 1998.

He loved his cabin in Benton, PA. where he fished and enjoyed the Saturday Night Bonfires. He treasured his antique cars and his outings to Antique Car Shows. He golfed with friends every chance he got.

Tony was proud of his Italian heritage, and he took every opportunity to celebrate with his family. He especially cherished times that he could dance with his daughter and his nieces.

Surviving in addition to Bella are his daughter Diane F. Amedei and her children Will Doss and his husband Jon Allyn and Emmy Wallace and her son Billy Wallace; and his son Anthony, Jr. and his wife Diane Crawford Amedei and their children Alyssa, Anthony and Kara Eppert and her husband Jermaine.

Relatives and friends may visit on Friday, January 25th from 10:00 to 11:00 at St. Patrick’s Church, 104 Channing Ave. Malvern, PA. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00. Burial will be at St. Monica Cemetery, 1088 Old Lancaster Rd. Berwyn, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Tony’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
