

Born with a determined spirit and a love for life, she loved her family and found joy in life’s simple pleasures— meeting new people, reading, traveling with her late husband John, and her daily walks that were a cherished routine. She was a part of many local organizations, including the Merry Widows, the Great Valley Women’s Society, the Saturday Club, and numerous bridge groups. Barbara dedicated many years of her career to American Financial Group, where she was admired for her professionalism, kindness, and commitment.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, who passed away in 2015. Together, they shared a life filled with laughter, adventure, and enduring love.
She is survived by her devoted children: Colleen, Kevin, Mary Beth and Meghan. She was a loving grandmother to John, Kelly, Bridget, Lucas, Tommy, Meghan, Nate and Chase.
Barbara’s family and friends will remember her for her determined nature, her love of people and their stories, her strength, and the way she made each person feel special. She treasured time spent with her family most of all, creating countless memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Services will be held at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Malvern, Pennsylvania on Friday, September 19th. Calling hours will be held from 10:30-11:00am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00.
