Barbara J. Robinson

Barbara J. (nee Webb), 85, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 9, 2013. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late John F. Robinson, loving mother of Carolyn (Scott) Robinson- Jemison and Marjorie (Francisco) Pinto-Leite & adored grandmother to Tomas, Marcos & Lucas. Barbara was the well-known writer of several children’s books, including THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, which was made into a TV movie & play. Barbara spent the latter part of her life traveling to schools across the country, speaking to children & teachers about writing. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Sat. Aug. 3rd 11am at Newtown Square Presbyterian Church: 3600 Goshen Rd., Newtown Square, PA. 19073. The family will receive friends following the Service. Burial private by the request of the family.
