Betty Lou Mercadante

Betty Lou (Nee Brabson) Mercadante, 83, loving mom, grandmother and friend passed away on Wed. April 25, 2018 surrounded by her family. Betty Lou was born in Chester, PA and spent the majority of her years in Brookhaven, PA with her husband, the late William Mercadante. She then resided in Spring City, PA with her son and his family for the past eight years. Betty Lou is survived by two children: William, Jr. (Kimberly) & Nancy (Ralph) Perruzzi. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Melanie & Alison Moccia, and Dylan Mercadante, as well as a great grandson, Mason Winslow. Betty Lou was the last of her eight brothers and sisters, Harry, Jim, Don, Bob, Elmer, Dorothy, Helena and Ruth, all of whom she loved dearly. People will remember her as the cheerful hostess at the former restaurant, The Little Inn in Media. Her captivating smile was her trademark, which will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday April 29, 2018 from 12PM-1PM at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc.: 1724 East Lancaster Ave. Paoli, PA. A Memorial Service will begin at 1PM. Burial will be private by the request of the family.
