

Bruce E. Albrecht, 70, of Bala Cynwyd peacefully passed away on Tuesday November 18, 2025. Bruce was the beloved son of the late Marjorie and Jay Albrecht and loving brother of the late Marlene Hess. He will be deeply missed by his brother Jay and his wife Val Moore, his sisters Sandy Tryon and Judy Barnes and his brother-in-law Jay Hess.
He was the loving uncle of Jeff Tryon and his wife Sherry, Todd Tryon and his wife Cheryl, Miranda Kaminski and her husband Chris, Sarah Carreon and her husband Stephen, Jake Albrecht and his wife Sandra, Justin Manni and his wife Jess, Sheena Thompson and her partner Scott Gannon.
He was fortunate to have nine great nieces and nephews J.J., Kieran, Stella, Mackenna, Bri, Serena, Liam, Damian, and Odin. He is also survived by his former wife Lisa Albrecht, former fiancée Chrissie Kahny and daughter Genevie and very good friend Fred Robey.
Bruce was the longtime co-owner, along with his brother Jay, of John Albrecht Nurseries in Narberth, a business started in 1882 by his great grandfather John Albrecht. He and his brother were the fourth generation owners.
Since his teen years, Bruce always had a love of fast cars particularly Shelby Cobras. Bruce enjoyed going to car shows with friends and later in life with Jay in Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
Halloween was a favorite holiday and for many years he held a costume party at his home. The decorations and costumes were always amazing. For several years Bruce and his late sister Marlene would compete with their outdoor decorations and their costume parties.
Like his father he was a quiet man who always seemed to be on the edges of whatever was going on but when he spoke it was always with a humorous addition. He loved dogs especially his red Doberman Dude and Boxers Cap’n Jack and Spanky.
Bruce was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

There will be a gathering on Wednesday, December 3rd from 7 to 9 p.m. at Alleva Funeral Home, 1724 E. Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301. Burial will be private.
