A visitation will be held from 8:30am-9:30am on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 1724 E Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA 19301. The funeral service will begin at 9:30am in person and via Zoom. Both events are only open to family and friends. Burial will follow the funeral home at Hillside cemetery at 1pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Alleva Funeral Home.
Cam was born in Saigon, Vietnam on August 14, 1958. Cam graduated from high school in Vietnam, and fled to the United States as a refugee shortly following the Vietnam War. One of her greatest accomplishments was to sponsor her entire family and become citizens themselves, including her father, ten siblings, her siblings' spouses, nieces, and nephews.
Cam was married to Tu Ha Giang; they were married for twenty-nine years.
Cam worked as an administrative assistant for State Farm Insurance for thirty years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was also actively involved in Tzu Chi, a Buddhist humanitarian organization, for over a decade.
Cam is survived by her spouse, two sons, eight siblings, and dozens of nieces and nephews. Cam is preceded in death by her father Kim Khue Ly, her mother Kim Huynh, and her older brother Lam Li.
