Carol was born on July 16, 1943, to Albert Mistrano and Helen Mistrano (Astrayka). She grew up in the Philadelphia area, where she later graduated from high school and devoted many years to being a homemaker, lovingly raising her two daughters in Northeast Philadelphia.
In 1985, Carol returned to school in New York and earned her license in Massage Therapy. She went on to work as a massage therapist at PT&D in Levittown, Pennsylvania, where she served her patients for over two decades. Carol practiced with a holistic and therapeutic approach, helping individuals recover from surgeries, car accidents, and sports injuries. Her deep knowledge of her patients and genuine empathy allowed her to provide personalized care that fostered trust, comfort, and improved outcomes. Always striving to grow professionally, Carol also became a certified Foot Reflexologist and Hypnotherapist.
Carol had a deep love for the arts. She created beautiful still-life drawings and paintings, favoring charcoal, oil paints, and pastels. She was also a gifted poet, often writing heartfelt poems for nearly every special occasion to honor and celebrate her loved ones.
Above all else, Carol was a kind and generous woman who valued her family above everything. Her daughters and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she took immense pride and joy in their lives and accomplishments. Her warmth, creativity, and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carol’s legacy of unconditional love, devotion and selflessness will live on forever in the hearts of her family forever.
