She was born in 1941 in Lucasville, Ohio; she was preceded in death by her parents Virgil Sherman and Christine Lulu Lester, by her husband William Richard Stone and by her daughter Deborah Lynne Archibald-Karp. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Darren Stone (Ramona) of Louisville, Kentucky, her grandsons Jacob Tanner Archibald of Walnut Creek, California and William Zachary Stone of Devon, Pennsylvania. Her children and her family were at the center of Carole’s life. She was dearly loved by all family, friends, and everyone who knew her. She often spoke affectionately of her friends in Lexington, Kentucky where she worked (St. Joseph Hospital) and lived (Monticello Blvd.) most of her life. Carole passed away on May 7, 2022 at the Paoli Hospital in Pennsylvania, after a brief, but serious illness. She passed away peacefully, in no pain, with family at her side. She was much loved and will be deeply missed.
