Charles Campbell Ball of Nokomis, Florida on January 6, 2018. Born on February 6, 1936 in Oaks, PA, he was the son of Herman and Dorothy Ball, and was a proud member of the TE High School class of 1954 and Mount St. Mary College class of 1958. Charles married Marge Shellenberger in 1968 and adopted his only son Walter Ball. He worked for the Social Security Administration for 30 years, retired and then kept busy as a bank teller in Wayne, PA. Soon he began spending winters in Florida where he married Frances Francis. Charles then moved to Florida permanently in 2014. Charlie would attend Catholic Mass weekly. He was best known for his amazing memory, love for Flyers hockey and all sports, and of course was the only person on the planet that drank warm Schmidt’s beer.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, January 16, after 10AM at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester PA 19380. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 11AM. Interment private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Agnes Parish.
