A wonderful human being, I loved the man and his integrity and wisdom and Christian values.  Many great conversations.   He wanted to probe and talk philosophically about life and moral values.  I remember in particular being in a small boat on the lake at Charlie’s and Karen’s vacation home in NW PA — “fishing” (they weren’t biting — too early in the season) while Charlie and I discussed some deep issues (lost on my oldest son Joseph who was with us, maybe 10 at the time).  He cared so much on moral and ethical issues.  Enjoyed working with him so very much.  An excellent man, an absolute pleasure to be with.  Blessed to have known him.  Charlie enriched my life.

My sincerest sympathies to Karen and all the Keller family.  After seeing just Karen posting on Facebook , I surmised something was wrong.
Charlie was the epitome of a gentleman’s gentleman. Always warm, friendly, kind- 
all the attributes of someone you enjoy being with. My friendship with Charlie was by way of my doing design work for CapCities/ABC.  We always spoke first of the backwoods, the mountains and lake living- then we got down to business. 
The world will never be the same without this noble man. My love and warmest wishes to all!

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. What a kind and gentle man he was. Such a blessing to me to be able to serve in the same ministry with you both.

We had the great honor of being neighbors with Charlie and Karen while they lived in Colorado. It did not take long to become the very best of friends. Charlie never met a stranger. He had a unique talent for conversing comfortably with people and quickly learning their life story. Caring was ingrained in his personality as love was in his heart. We had great adventures and extended travels together, frequently visiting and enjoying each other’s company and just “letting the air out of the day ” on their deck in the evenings. Thanks for being a pivotal part of our lives. We miss you, Charlie Keller.

Charlie was one of the first persons I met when  my husband & I moved to Berwyn in 2005 and I joined the Upper Mainline YMCA.  He was a frequent tennis player and was the friendly, encouraging face to all players both young and old, on the courts and was beloved by us all!  Later he and his wife were greeters every Sunday at St Norbert’s Sunday Mass and it was delightful to  chat with him there. What a lovely, kind, pleasant human being he was, am so very sad for his family and will remember him in my prayers.

I remember Chuck sitting in prayer in the St Norbert Church vestibule getting ready for being the Lector at the Mass.  I remember his polished voice in annunciating the Liturgy of the Word.  I remember Chuck sharing his great smile while greeting people as they came into the Church to celebrate the Mass.   I remember the how Karen and Chuck frequently guiding others during the Communion and then coming up together to receive Communion (for me as a continuing celebration of the sacrament of Marriage).  I remember his wonderful anecdotes about life in Berwyn, his fond stories about family, and his advice on work balance.  For this, I and am sure many others concur that we consider ourselves very lucky to meet such a wonderful soul who taught me and others much.  Peace to Charles, Peace to Karen,  and Peace to the rest of your family.

Chuck was a wonderful human being.  His smile was contagious and he always affirmed people in his presence.

To Karen and family…
He is forever yours and may you each be blessed as you walk this very difficult path.

I am so sorry to learn of Charles' passing.  I always enjoyed hearing him lector at St. Norbert parish.  With his phenomenal voice, he truly brought God's Word to life.
