peacefully passed away of natural causes, surrounded by love and family filled with song and prayer on the afternoon of Monday, February 7, 2022.
Born in New York, New York on November 23, 1929. She graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. As an only child of a single mother, she longed for a large, colorful family and that is precisely what she inherited when she married the love of her life, William J. Radcliffe. As husband and wife, they started and grew their family. Her husband’s career would end up relocating the family all over the country. Each move took its toll, but no one would know, because she wouldn’t complain. Rather, she learned to adapt and overcome. Leading every situation with unwavering kindness and empathy for all others, Pat was the type of person that nearly everyone liked and enjoyed being around. She supported many progressive ideals in her 92 years, as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and a supporter of the gun control movement.
Her commitment to her community through volunteerism was only rivaled by her Catholic faith and devotion to her family. As a lifelong devout, progressive Catholic, she would donate her time at various hospitals, piloting the “cheer cart.” Providing light and love wherever she rolled.
All gravitated toward her as she was a listening ear for those who were going through times of trouble and sorrow. Pat showed-up for everyone she cared about and those that they cared about. She genuinely loved and was naturally attentive to every individual she met in her life.
Predeceased by her late husband and love of her life of almost 50 years William J. Radcliffe. Pat is survived by her four children; Ellen Radcliffe-Brewer (Dean), Bill Radcliffe (Isabel), Marianne Blauvelt (Thom), Jane Moore (Kevin), and twelve grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4-6pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022, services will occur the following morning at 10am at Alleva Funeral Home 1724 E Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Sandy Hook Promise Foundation P.O. Box 3489 Newton, CT 06470 (https://www.sandyhookpromise.org).
