David Sharpless Kline

David grew up in Springfield Delaware County and was a proud graduate of Clemson University. He was an avid follower of the Clemson football and basketball teams and his hometown Philly teams.

After retiring from Comcast 4 years ago, David pursued his many interests and picked up a whole lot more; they included guitar and ukulele, golf, gardening, woodworking, art and kayaking. He cherished his time with family and friends and his role of “Big Dog” with his grandchildren.

David and Mary moved to their retreat in the Poconos in July of 2022. Since then, David lived his dream and was extremely happy.

David was a lifelong learner. He was never afraid of failing. In honor of his legacy, we ask that you help us carry forward his spirit of curiosity and try something new.

A celebration of life gathering will take place on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 2:00 - 3:00pm with a service beginning at 3:00.
