David was born in Monterrey, Mexico on August 22, 1939. He graduated in 1957 from Lane Tech Prep High School in Chicago and then served in the US Army Reserves. After earning an associates degree from Wright Junior College, he became an art director and worked for several ad agencies, eventually becoming the head of the art department for the Franklin Mint. He was an avid Flyers, Phillies and Eagles fan. His greatest joy was his love for his family and his faith in God.
He is survived by his wife Carol; siblings Ramiro (Helen), Arturo and Fanya; children David (Lynda), Kimberly and Brian; and grandchildren Hannah, Isabella, Jaydon, Braelyn, Sadie, Jack and Ella.
