Dino Calvarese

Born on October 13, 1938, in Teramo, Italy, Dino was the son of Sebastiano and Carmela Calvarese. Dino came to the United States as a young man with the determination and strong sense of purpose. Like many from his generation, he left behind family and his homeland in search of opportunity and to build a better life. After establishing himself in the family plastering business, Calvarese and Sons, he returned to Italy for the most important reason of all - to bring back his beloved wife to begin their life in America. Their journey was one of love, sacrifice, and partnership, laying the foundation for the family they would raise and cherish.

Dino is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Yolanda Calvarese; his children Dino, Jr. (Debbie) Calvarese, Vera (John) DiMaio III, Gabriella (Jamie) Greco, and 10 grandchildren - Grant, Justin, Travis, and Chase Calvarese; Erica (Shubert), Joseph, and Lucas DiMaio; Ryan, Taylor, and Isabella Greco, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Dino is survived by his siblings, Yolanda Procacci Falcone of Devon, PA, and Silvana Sposato of Gainesville, VA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Domenic Calvarese of Sardinia, Italy.

A viewing will be held on July 11, 2026, at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Strafford, PA. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00am followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken, PA.
