Donna was the beloved wife of the late Louis E. DeLuca, with whom she shared 32 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted and loving mother to Nicholas (Colleen) and Erica (Kyle Butler) DeLuca. Donna was the cherished daughter of the late John and Florence Garzarella, the loving sister of Bonnie Garzarella (Fred Toroni) and the late Debbie Garzarella, and a proud aunt to Jonathan and Blaise (Samantha) Toroni. She was also a loving great aunt to Francesca and Antoniette Toroni.
Born on January 31, 1961, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Donna was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Conestoga High School in 1980 and attended Cabrini College before beginning a rewarding career as a laboratory technician at Bryn Mawr Hospital, where she dedicated more than 30 years of service.
Family was at the center of Donna's life and the source of her greatest joy. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she loved, making family her priority in everything she did. Her kindness, strength, and selflessness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
For 35 years, Donna was an extraordinary mother, the kind of mother every child hopes to have. She was always there with love, guidance, and encouragement, offering support without judgment and comfort without hesitation. No matter the circumstance, her family knew they could count on her. She was the steady presence who made everyone feel safe, loved, and cared for.
Donna gave herself freely and never asked for anything in return. She found happiness in caring for others and took great pride in the well-being of her family. Whether celebrating life's biggest milestones or simply sharing everyday moments, she made sure she was there. Her greatest joy was seeing the people she loved happy, supported, and together.
She was not only a wonderful mother but also a devoted wife. Through her marriage, Donna showed what true love, commitment, and partnership looked like. The love they shared was built on loyalty, respect, and unwavering support, serving as an example to all who knew them.
Donna's love extended far beyond her immediate family. She was a caring daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and loyal friend. She had a special gift for making people feel valued and important. She listened, encouraged, comforted, and celebrated others with warmth that drew people to her and left a lasting impression.
The lessons Donna taught were not just spoken, they were lived every day through her actions. She showed us the importance of family, the power of kindness, and the meaning of unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the values she shared, and the family she loved so deeply.
She will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
We will love her always, miss her forever, and hold her in our hearts every day.
