My prayers go out to the Grant family. 
Ed will certainly be missed.
He was a hard working one of a kind personality with a very genuine passion and likeable attitude.
I enjoyed our daily sarcastic joking sessions and our many conversations about his favorite baseball club.

Your presence and kind spirit will be missed. Always such a positive, friendly, and accommodating person. Your professionalism is just one  of the many traits your fellow colleagues will remember the most.

Ed Grant will be missed. He left a lasting impression with his heart and wisdom. He often said, if you say jump, I will always ask how high. And truth was, you didn't have to ask, he was already flying high.  He often told me the story of how he met his wife... at least 10 times, and always with such happiness, like he was telling it for the first time. So I listened like I was hearing it for the first time. Then he'd say, you have to try her blueberry cobbler. The day he arrived with the blueberry cobbler, he said, "Are you ready for this?" Of course I was, I had heard about it so much. And he said, "but wait, it must have 10 seconds in the microwave."  And he giggled as it warmed up.  I couldn't help but smile as I enjoyed the best blueberry cobbler ever in his company... it was deliciously sweet, warm and full of heart. 
Ed's wisdom was what most think come with age, but I always thought it was so exceptional, he must've been born with it. 
My deepest condolences to Mrs. Grant, baker extraordinaire, and family. My heart is heavy.
Ed Grant, fly high among the stars my friend. You left a lasting impression.

Ed's was a kind, selfless, positive, hardworking spirit, who's a strong team player. He loved his wife, and always praised her cooking. I remember him bringing in buttered shortbread during our time assembling face shields in the Duggal Greenhouse. It was very delicious!!!

I would always say please pass on my regards to your lovely wife. Ed would say: "My wife says: Hello, as usual."

He loved him wife. I remember getting off the Brooklyn Navy Atlantic Terminal shuttle bus, and meeting his wife for the first time.

Ed was one of a kind.

I will definitely miss him.
