Beloved sister of Marilyn Norcini and sister in-law of Phil Chase of Brooksville, Maine, and sister of Marcia Norcini of Wayne. Eldest daughter of Guy and Dorothy Norcini of Devon (both deceased).
Missy passed away at the Wayne Center on Tuesday, February 28, at the age of 73.
She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Nerinx Hall high school. She came east for college at Immaculata, majoring in psychology and education and made Wayne her home. For 30 years, she worked as an elementary school teacher and guidance counselor in the Great Valley School district where she was popular with students and parents. While teaching, she earned a master’s degree in counseling at Villanova University.
Missy loved to travel in America and in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and China. She enjoyed arts and crafts – making cards, quilting and jewelry.
Missy was an active member of Our Lady of Assumption parish where she served as a eucharistic minister, volunteer at church events, and member of LOLA.
She was a fun, generous and outgoing person who attracted many loyal friends for life. She will be missed by family and friends.

The celebration of Missy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 4th at Our Lady of Assumption church located at 35 Old Eagle School Road in Wayne. Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 in the Sacred Heart Chapel in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Mass will be at 11:00 in the Church.
