Frances R. Montgomery

Frances "Frani" R. (DiGinto) Montgomery, age 76, went to the Lord on May 24th, 2026. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, George A. Montgomery. Frani is the mother of beloved sons, Michael, George, Peter and Samuel. Grandmother to her adored grandchildren Luke, Reese Anne, Owen, and Lindsey. She is survived by well-loved siblings, Thomas (Barbara) DiGinto, Joanne Galette, Gina (John) DiGuglielmo, and Edward DiGinto, her brothers-in-law, Robert (Jean) Montgomery and Ken Montgomery, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Frani was predeceased by her beloved parents, Joseph and Anna DiGinto and her in-laws, George and Doris Montgomery. Frani enjoyed and is survived by wonderful friends Pat Spina and Rose Bounonno, and a special neighbor Debra Kunzler who always took time to share flowers with Frani.

Frani attended St, Katherine of Sienna grade school in Wayne, PA and SS. Cosmas and Damian grade school in Conshohocken, PA. She was a 1967 graduate of St. Matthews High School in Conshohocken, PA. Her career included working at C&D Batteries, Malvern Federal Savings Bank, Paoli Card and Gift, Lockwood Financial, and was the business owner of Frazer Card & Gift.

Frani loved traveling, gardening, birding, reading and history. She loved meeting people from little ones to old folks. She loved going to the casino.

Her greatest joy in life was time spent with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family!

Relatives & friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 6th at 11:00am at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc (1724 E Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA). A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am Saturday morning at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc.
