Frank R. Cummings, long time resident of Paoli & Wayne areas, died Saturday August 25, 2012 at Vitas, Fitz Mercy hospital. Frank was born in Philadelphia on Jan. 14, 1935 son to the late Thomas & Theresa Cummings. Survived by a brother; John Cummings of Philadelphia and predeceased by his brother Thomas. Frank served in the US Army, 1957-1959, then as a Philadelphia Police Officer during Frank Rizzo’s commissionership. He then participated in cadet supervision at Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne from which he retired. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Friday, August 31st at 11:00 am at the Baptist Cemetery in the Great Valley in Devon.
