Gilda E. Bruno

She passed away peacefully at her home on March 24th, surrounded by her family.

She was the only child of Itala and Angelo Palumbo. At 18 years of age she came to the U. S. where she worked for the Bernola Co. doing men’s alternations. That’s where she met Alessandro and they would later be married. She raised a son, Louis, then went to work for Strawbridge where she stayed for 30 years. She was a loving and attentive wife and mother. She adored her grandsons and great grandson. She is survived by her son Louis (Elizabeth), Grandsons’ Alexander (Jessica) and Robert Bruno and great grandchild Lucas.

Service and interment are private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Rd, Strafford, PA 19087.
