Gloria Ann Belmonte
December 9, 1931 – May 4, 2022

IN THE CARE OF
Alleva Funeral Home, Inc.
Gloria Ann Belmonte, age 90, passed away on May 4, 2022 at Paoli Memorial Hospital.
She was a long-time resident of Wayne. Gloria was born on December 9, 1931 in Ardmore, to parents David and Maria Fantini. Gloria graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1949. She went on to establish a career as a Secretary, and greatly enjoyed working for the Augustinian Provincial Order at Villanova University for more than 25 years.
Gloria was known as “Go” or “Goey” to many. She was a determined family caregiver. Her sons and daughter-in-law meant everything to her, and watching her grandchildren grow up was her biggest joy. She also loved catching up with other family members and friends and was an avid reader of mysteries. Gloria was a uniquely warm person, with an admirable inner strength.
Gloria was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Fantini, sister Josephine Frattone, and former husband Louis Belmonte.
Gloria is survived by sister Helen Reimold; sons Louis (Kathleen) and David; and grandchildren Alexandra, Samuel, Max and Anthony.
A viewing is scheduled for 10:00AM Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Strafford, with a 11:00am Funeral service, followed by an interment at Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken.
