The youngest of six children Gloria’s siblings were Rose (Tomarelli), Michael (Dominica Vitullo), Grace, Florence (Theodore Mandes), Rita (Raymond Guerrisi).
Gloria graduated from Radnor High School. She loved Radnor and at age 95 could still remember the names of her teachers and classmates throughout her 12 years. She enjoyed playing tennis, basketball and going to football games. Even to the present she paid attention to the Radnor vs Lower Marion score.
In 2014 Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband Doctor George C. Morelli with whom she shared over 65 years of friendship and marriage enjoying travel, especially to the Stone Harbor, Cape Cod, The Poconos, Florida and Italy.
Gloria had one child, Dianne (Robert Yale)from her first marriage in 1942 to Frank T. DePierro
Gloria leaves three cherished grandchildren, Richard Mattis (Deanne Warner), Heather Mattis (Paul Burns), Colin Mattis (Laura Leslie), 5 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Gloria’s career years were spent in retail, first at The Wayne Gift Ghop, and last at Terry’s in Ithan. She especially loved fashion and defined herself by beautiful clothing, home decor, home making and gardening. She was a lifelong active member in numerous animal protection and rescue societies among which were The Humane Society, PETA, ASPCA and had a special fondness for the Radnor based Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals.

Mass will be at St Katherine of Sienna, Aberdeen Avenue in Wayne on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 10:00am. Interment to be private.
