

Harold G. Hurff, 89, of Devon, Pennsylvania, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, June 1, 2026. Born September 5, 1936, he lived a life marked by love of his family, steady leadership, devoted service, and a deep sense of responsibility to the institutions and people he cared for.
Harold graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business degree. Over a distinguished 38-year career with Johnson & Johnson, Harold rose to the role of Vice-President of Personnel/Extracorporeal Medical Specialties, earning respect for his professionalism and the thoughtful guidance he brought to his work. His commitment to purposeful progress extended beyond his professional life, most notably through his service as President of Easttown Library, where he successfully led a capital-raising campaign in 2003—an enduring contribution to the Easttown, Pennsylvania community’s shared resources and future. Harold was also a member of the Berwyn United Method Church, reflecting a quiet dedication to his faith and community. He is survived by his wife of nearly 68 years, Geraldine Hurff (nee Fogg); his three sons and their spouses, Kerry S. Hurff and Jami S. Hurff (Dublin, OH), Christopher D. Hurff and Jeanne M. Codori (Winchester, MA), and Matthew H. Hurff and Karen H. Hurff (Saratoga Springs, NY); his 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday, June 6th, at 11:00 AM at Berwyn United Methodist Church, 140 Waterloo Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312. A Visitation will be start at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Memorial Park.
