The pleasure of knowing Jim Hanlon is a gift we all share. We will all remember him in our own special ways. He taught us all how to treat people. Whether he was meeting with the president of a large corporation or the janitor of the company, he treated them both with the same high level of dignity and respect. The effort was never rehearsed or forced. It was genuine. it was Jim. Patty and I had the honor of witnessing this magic on many occasions. We will also never forget the many sayings he had as I am sure we have all used them as our own on occasion. Well, at least I have.
He sometimes joked that he wouldn't make it to heaven. I think this is because he greatly underestimated the number of good things he did for people and the positive effect he had on everyone. I am sure he made it to heaven and wouldn't be surprised to hear that he's helping to run the place.
Marge, Bridget and Shane, thank you for sharing Jim with us all.
Rest in peace Jim (and Jimmy, too.)

I met Jim just before I moved from Oregon to Norristown at the Alehouse. He's the kind of man that always is upbeat and positive. No matter what's happening all around , he always has refreshing positive words. His gentle soul, kind heart, and smile will be missed by all. Deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

What a wonderful world we live in because of Jim Hanlon. He spread joy to everyone he touched. His greatest pleasures came from loving his family and friends and of course Sea Isle fishing trips and sunsets.

He played hard and he worked hard. He was generous, kind and oh so charming. He had a special affection for my 97 yr old mom whom he showered with gifts and attention and she treasured his friendship.

I am so lucky to have shared 40 yrs with the man who taught me so much about life. He built a successful business with employees who felt more like family because he took a personal interest in all of them. He attributed his success to his team and was very grateful for his good fortune. He enjoyed giving to charities and secretly paying off a layaway bill at K-mart during Christmas.

What an incredible journey it has been to be on the path with Jim Hanlon. I miss you my dear friend, you’re in my heart forever ❤️

To Marge, Shane and Bridget
I knew Jim for 36 years and witnessed his success, pride in his family and the true delight his grandsons gave him. We shared many of the same colleagues in the plastics industry. He was always great company, generous with his time . What I admired most was his ability to really enjoy the people around him and make them feel good about themselves. I'm going to miss him greatly. My sincerest sympathy to you all.
