

Hubbert, James F., (Jim) the loving Husband of Joan, passed away peacefully on March 12th, 2014 at the age of 75 at his home in Berwyn, PA. Jim was born in Philadelphia to Bernice (nee Slattery) and Edward Hubbert.
Jim was a graduate of Malvern Preparatory School and received a BS of Economics from Villanova University. During his long and distinguished professional career, Jim served as President and CEO for several corporations in the insurance, healthcare and financial industries, most notably Nursecare Health Centers, Inc and Pinnacle Capital Solutions, Inc. He was also an active member of St Monica’s Parish, in Berwyn, where he served as an usher.
Jim is survived by his wife, Joan M. (nee Harnett), children, Kristen (Jeff Dinger), J Cory (Jessica) and Brennan (Laura), and is preceeded by his sons Craig and Ryan. He was the beloved grandfather of six grandchildren, Braeden, Katherine, Grace, Jack, Finn and Heidi.
As a businessman, Jim will be remembered for being an astute and honest individual. As a friend he will be remembered as one who was always ready to laugh, quick with a story, fiercely loyal and truly genuine. Most importantly, as husband, father and grandfather he will be remembered as a wonderful teacher, loving and dedicated provider and the finest of men.
He will be deeply missed by all his Family and Friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, March 18th at the Church of St Monica, located at 635 First Avenue, Berwyn PA, 19312. A receiving line is scheduled from 10am – 11am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. .
