Jane Ann Wilcox

Jane Ann Wilcox, 67, of Malvern, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Throughout her illness, Jane faced every challenge with remarkable strength, faith, and an unwaveringly positive attitude that inspired all who knew and loved her.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jane later lived in Horsham and Berwyn, Pennsylvania before making Malvern her home. Wherever life took her, she carried a vibrant spirit, infectious optimism, and a deep appreciation for family, creativity, and connection.

Jane was an artist at heart. She loved crafting and creating beautiful things, finding joy in expressing herself through color, design, and imagination. Her colorful wardrobe reflected her colorful personality—warm, vibrant, and full of life. She had a gift for brightening any room she entered and making others feel welcome, valued, and loved.

Throughout her career, Jane worked in the pharmaceutical industry, contributing to the advancement of clinical research and the development of new medicines. She believed deeply in the importance of clinical trials and was a passionate advocate for participation in research, recognizing the hope and progress it could bring to patients and families. Her work reflected her desire to help others and make a meaningful difference in the world.

Jane also enjoyed exercising and staying active, but her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family. Above all, she cherished moments spent with loved ones, especially in Holgate on Long Beach Island, New Jersey—a place that held a special place in her heart. There, surrounded by family, sunshine, ocean breezes, and laughter, she created countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Jane will be remembered for her resilience, creativity, kindness, patriotism, and unwavering positivity. Even during life's most difficult moments, she chose hope, gratitude, trust in the lord, and above all--love. Her strength touched countless lives and has left an enduring legacy for all who knew her.

Jane is survived by her two beloved daughters, Caitlin Kern and Kelsey Kern; her cherished granddaughter Isla Kern; her sister, Claire (Wilcox) Head; her sister-in-law, Sandra (Dahlstrom) Wilcox; her three nieces, Jennifer Wilcox, Jessica Wilcox and Holland Johnson; and her two nephews, William and Wesley Wilcox. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and the memories they shared with her will remain a source of comfort and joy for years to come.

Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Ann (Ballinger) Wilcox; her father, Bruce Wilcox; her brother, Craig Wilcox; her uncles, Harry Ballinger and John Wilcox; and her aunts, Jean (Ballinger) VonHolt and Ann (Joudrey) Wilcox.

Though she will be profoundly missed, Jane's vibrant spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her life was filled with laughter, creativity, love, and meaningful connections, and they will honor her memory by carrying those gifts forward.

Come in color to celebrate Jane's life on Saturday, August 1st at 11:00am at St. Peter's Chruch in Malvern, PA. The service will be immediately followed by burial in the churchyard and a reception.
