Beloved husband of Anne (nee Severance), loving father of Jeryl (Vincent) Cestone, James, Susan (Andrew) Smyles, and Patricia (Todd) Sichort, and devoted grandfather of eight. World War II Army veteran who served in the 341st Infantry Regiment, 86th Division in Berlin and the Phillippines. Also served in the Korean War as a light weapons infantry leader and infantry operations chief. He spent 44 years in sales in the railroad industry, working for New York Central, Penn Central, and Conrail. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Sun. Jan 16 from 2-4 p.m. at Alleva Funeral Home Inc. 1724 E. Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, Pa. 19301. Mass of Christian Burial Mon Jan 17 at 11 am from St. Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, Pa. 19301.
