He is survived by his children: John Philip III (Jake), Hannah Marie, Emma Grace, the mother of his children, Cindy Follman, his parents: John and Mary Pat Follman, his siblings: Trish Saylor(Doug), Sister- in-Law, Lisa (Joseph Noel-dec), Tracey Ramondo (Ken), Eric (Nancy), Erin Campbell (Kyle) and Neal Alexander, his 15 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.
John was a graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School and The University of Delaware. He was the President of Surety Brokerage Company for 15 years.
He was a High School athlete and an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan.
John was on the Board for the Shevlin Foundation.
John also started a recovery house in Chester Pa. where he offered a second chance to many suffering from addiction.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Katherine of Siena, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave. Wayne, PA at 11 am on Fri. May 21. Visitation will begin at 10 am. For those unable to attend, a livestream link is available at www.allevafuneralhome.com Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
