Johnathan Sharpless Sabbi

Johnathan "John" Sharpless Sabbi, aged 57, of Exton, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 16, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1966, in Chester County, Pennsylvania, the beloved son of the late John Francis Sabbi and Judith Sabbi.

John was a man of many talents, but his true passion lay in music. He was an accomplished guitarist and a gifted songwriter, composing numerous beautiful melodies that touched the hearts of those who listened. His guitar was his faithful companion, and through its strings, he poured his soul into every note he played.

In addition to his musical pursuits, John had a deep affection for animals, particularly his dogs. Woolfie, Zen, and Punkaroo held a special place in his heart, bringing him joy and companionship throughout his life.

John received his education at Malvern Prep, where he nurtured his thirst for knowledge and personal growth. He valued the lessons he learned during his time there and carried them with him throughout his life.

John leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his mother, Judith Sabbi, his sister, Jane Economou, and his brother-in-law, Peter Economou. John's nieces, Allie Economou and Katie Economou, were a source of great pride and happiness for him. He also leaves behind cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins who will hold dear the memories they shared with him.

During this time of mourning, let us remember John for the joy he brought into our lives through his music, his love for his dogs, and his warm presence. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private service to honor and celebrate John's life will be held for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter, in honor of John's passion for animals.
