

Born on November 21, 1933, a 1951 graduate of Radnor High School, he was a life long resident of the Main Line and was the son of John and Alice Englebert.
Joe will be dearly missed by family and friends including his wife of 40 years, Mary Jane (Smedley-Frankenheimer), Brothers Paul(Diane) and Richard(Susan), Daughters; Lisa, Heather and Laura, Stepchildren; Margie, Richard, Kate and Bob, and 12 grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, brother John "Hap" Englebert and former wife Joy B. Englebert-Stanley.
Joe served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army and Reserves from 1956 to 1962, stationed in Germany. He spent his full career of 40 years at the former Philadelphia Electric Company (Excelon), retiring as a supervisor in 1991.
Throughout his lifetime, he enjoyed traveling, golf, gardening, spending time with family and friends in Cape May, NJ and Longboat Key, FL, and was a lifelong, Eagles, Phillies and Notre Dame Fan.
A dedicated community volunteer, he served proudly for over 40 years in the former Wayne Lions Club as past president and on the board of directors. He was also an active member of the Radnor High School Alumni Association.
A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held on March 6th , 10:30 am at Saint Patrick's Church, 104 Channing Ave Malvern, PA. Internment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Radnor High School Alumni Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 8244, Radnor, PA 19087.
