

On September 20, 2021 Joseph J. Kroger passed away after a two-year battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Joe was born in Chicago, Illinois, was raised in Oak Park, Illinois and moved to the Philadelphia area in 1972. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Kay, of 58 years. He is also survived by his son, Joseph, sister, Jeanne, and his two loving grandsons, Chris and Jake, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Christopher, sisters, Celeste and Marie and Brothers, Bill and Jack.
Joe worked for Sperry corporation for over 27 years and became president in 1982. He was also president of Unisys corporation in 1985. Throughout his career, he was admired for his strong work ethic. One of his greatest joys was going out into the field, helping salespeople solidify contracts with customers. Joe was a fitness enthusiast who loved boating, golf, tennis, biking and running.
Known for his generosity and kindness, his body was donated to the Humanity Gifts Registry for science. The memorial service will be held at a later date. He will truly be remembered and loved.
