She met her husband in Athens and they lived in Boston and New Jersey before Devon, PA. She loved to travel, and traveled extensively in Europe and the Middle East. She loved all animals, particularly cats and had numerous pets.
She graduated from Immaculata University, Conestoga High School and attended University of South Carolina. She was a lifelong gamecocks fan.
