I'll never forget all the fun we shared during our time living in Wayne. We still laugh at the leaf (squirrel) in the hot tub. And the memories of Cyrano and Jake running and playing, they were such best buds. I'm sorry we lost touch over the years, and now it's too late to tell you that.

We are so sorry Paul & family. Saying prayers for you all. Julie was indeed such a special human being, so loving and kind. If only everyone could be like her the world would be a better place.

I am fortunate not just to have met as great a guy as Daniel (and to be lucky enough to become his wife), but also to have become part of such a great family. Julie and Paul accepted me with open arms from the beginning, and we all got along well from the onset.

I met them in 2010 after I graduated from Washington University and they very generously let me stay with them for 3 weeks at the farm house. That was the beginning of our relationship, and I enjoyed getting to know them over the years. I treasure the time I was able to spend with them in Chester Springs, Wayne, Doylestown, Philadelphia, Glenmoore, St. Louis, Pittsburg, Kent, and Austin over many trips over the last 8.5 years. There was always lots of laughter when we were all together.

In particular, I was so happy to have the weekend with Julie and Paul (and many of you) at mine and Daniel's wedding in October 2016. It was really magical for us to have that special weekend set aside to spend with our closest friends and family. This is a picture of the four of us before the official festivities started that Saturday. I was thrilled to officially join the Harlacher family!

While I am incredibly sad to have lost Julie (and still can't quite believe it), I am thankful for the time we did have together and for the relationship we developed. Not everyone is so fortunate to have such a sweet and kind mother in law, and I was always thankful that we became so close and talked regularly. I already miss her dearly.

Before Daniel's graduation from Kent State, we met up with Julie and Paul in Pittsburg and enjoyed a really lovely evening together. We had dinner at a nice restaurant and took the funicular up to see a nice view of the city's skyline.

Julie loved her son Daniel and her daughter-in-law, Cynthia. Julie was so proud of both of them, and always said, Daniel could not have made a better choice for a life-long companion. She treasured time spent with them in Austin, TX where they live and in Glenmoore, PA when they would visit.

Julie and I were happily married for 36 years. After all that time, I have only one regret, that we didn't the chance to have many more years and grow old together. I miss her so.
