Born June 15, 1935 in York, PA to Lester and Margaret Frank Kling. After Graduating William Penn Senior High School in 1953, he entered the Navy, serving four years as a torpedo man, 2nd class on the Robert A. Owens. DDE827.
Entered Penn State University after discharge and graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1966. Employed by HRB Singer while getting his degree then relocated to West Chester, PA. with Burroughs.
Moved his family to Raleigh, NC in 1972, employed by Stockpole, retiring in 1995 from Honeywell as a Senior Principal Engineer.
Married Delores Elaine Free 6/21/1958 by Rev. John Berhneisel, at Messiah Lutheran, York, PA.
Father of three dear children, daughter-in-law, son-in-law and six precious grandchildren.
