Lorraine A. Godsoe, 85, of Malvern, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2020, surrounded by her family. She died of end-stage heart failure. Lorraine was born on April 17, 1934 in Meriden, Connecticut to Victor and Sophia Adams. She attended University of Connecticut where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and graduated from the School of Nursing in 1957. After graduation, she had a career as a Registered Nurse. Lorraine was a very talented artist - voted co-class artist with Tomie de Paola while at Meriden High School, Class of 1952. She was also a talented musician - played the piano, and was a member of the Bell Choir at Paoli Presbyterian Church. She was a faithful friend over the years to many. She leaves three children: Linda Cabrera and her husband, Arturo of Fredericksburg, VA, Leslie Godsoe of Boston, MA, and David Godsoe of Malvern, PA. She also left a grandson, Elias Cabrera and his wife, Elizabeth of Shippensburg, PA. She is also survived by her brother Richard Adams and his wife Kay, of DeLand, Florida and her nieces and their families; Diane Bacon of Seattle Washington, Judy Falcon of Deltona, Florida and Carolyn Alger of Florida. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we will only be having a private family memorial service at a future date when it is safe to do so.
