Louann K. Armstrong

Louann, 59, of New London, passed away at home Friday, January 29th. Preceded in death by her father, Louis S. Kontrye. She is survived by her mother, Irene, loving husband Daniel, daughter Beverly (Steven), son Joshua, and daughter Mary, Sisters, Maryanne, Alison, Debra, and her brother David. Together with a number of nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Conestoga Hight School, she received her nursing license shortly after and began a 30+ year career at Bryn Mawr Rehab in Malvern, PA. She is remembered by her colleagues for her dedication and kind heart. Louann, or Luke as she was known by family, enjoyed summers at the shore, outdoor adventures, including bicycling, canoeing and camping. She had recently began expanding her culinary skills to create impressive meals to share with her family.

Louann was faced with many challenges over the years, and through her we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Her quick wit and clever nature made her a true treasure to those who knew her and loved her.

A visitation is scheduled for February 20th at 1:30pm, followed by Mass at The Assumption BVM in West Grove, PA.
