

Lucy and Robert Forcine both of Phoenixville. Lucy (nee Marchionne) Forcine, age 88, passed away on Feb. 2nd, 2012. Robert A. Forcine, age 92, passed away on Feb. 17, 2012. Lucy and Robert are survived by (3) daughters; Victoria Weiss (Earl), Lyn McCausland (Rick) and Robyn Forcine; (4) grand children Lee Keene, Robert Keene, Kristie McConney (Matthew) and Morgan McCausland, all of Downingtown. (6) great grand children, Vincent Keene, Leesey Keene, Erik Keene, Carlee Keene, Ella McConney and Amanda McConney, all of Downingtown. Lucy is also survived by her sister Anna Dobra and her brother Felix Marchionne. Robert is also survived by his sister, Mary Torelli. Robert served in the Army during WWII, station in Iceland. Lucy waited patiently for his return so they could be marry on June 29, 1946. Robert worked at Burroughs in Malvern until he retired. Lucy was a homemaker and mother until 1968, when she began working at the Great Valley high school in Malvern, until she retired in 1995. Robert was an avid baseball player, hunter and fisherman. He love gardening and making home made wine from the fruit of his orchard. He won many awards for his baseball and numerous " trophies" from hunting. Lucy love to travel with her sister Anna, cook Italian meals and dappled in poetry, painting and sewing clothing. Mostly she loved caring and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved to laugh! In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Lucy's name to the Delaware County Alzheimer Assoc.; 399 Market St., Suite 102, Phila. PA. 19106 and in Robert's name, to your local VFW. The family will be receiving guests at the Alleva Funeral Home, Inc. in Paoli, 1724 E. Lancaster Ave., from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 25. A celebration of their lives will follow at 10:30.
