On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Margaret (Peggy) Smyth Laganelli, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at age 63. Margaret was born on July 25, 1955 in New York, New York to Samuel III and Marjorie Smyth.
Margaret received her degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Columbia University in New York. On December 18, 1988, she married Dr. Anthony L. Laganelli. They raised two sons, Anthony Lawrence and Nicholas Noah. Margaret had a passion for gardening. She was a spiritual woman, very involved with community activities, and could make a friend anywhere she went. Margaret was an animal lover. She was known for her desire to help others, her infectious smile, her unconditional care, and her kind and compassionate spirit.
She is survived by her husband Anthony, her two children, Anthony and Nicholas, her two brothers Rich and Dave, and two nephews. Receiving line will commence at 10am on Saturday, November 17th at the Washington Memorial Chapel on Valley Forge Park Rd in King of Prussia, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA or the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.
