Margaret G. McCann

“Peg” was a long-time resident of Wayne, Pa. She was born on August 6, 1940 in BrynMawr, Pa., to parents, Joseph G. Gross and Margaret McCallion Gross. She was a dedicated homemaker, plus worked at B. Altmans in Radnor for years before it closed.

She loved her family and friends. She vacationed in Cape May, and loved the beach, sand, and water. She loved watching sports; especially her Phillies, Villanova Basketball, and golf. She bowled on a women’s league in Devon for many years.

Peg was preceded in death by her loving husband, Christopher McCann, her parents Joseph G. and Margaret M. Gross, and her sister Mary Anne Gross.

Peg is survived by daughter Margaret Parker (James), son Christopher (Barbara), and daughter Deborah Mancini (John). “Memom” had six grandchildren; Jason, Eileen, Stephanie, Julie, Cassie, and Jimmy. She also had three great-grandchildren; Maddie, Johnny, Pete, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken. Burial with immediate family. Celebration of Life in near future, where family and friends will be invited to share their stories and memories.
