

Mary was the wife of the late Richard William Masters to whom she was married a wonderful 46 years. Previously, she was married to Eric Harbeson Biddle, Jr. Mary loved to travel with her family to Europe, the Caribbean and interesting places all over the United States. She also loved to play all kinds of games, especially bridge, eventually becoming a master player playing in many tournaments for the Hershey Mills Country Club. Surviving are five children: Michael (Deborah) Biddle, Carol (William) Chambers, Dorothy (Gary) Gray, Margery (Eric) Swanson, and Laura (Frederick) Detwiler; 14 grandchildren,; and 32 great grandchildren. Never was a mother more loved by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was born in Philadelphia and graduated from The Agnes Irwin School in Bryn Mawr, PA. Her late parents were Wainwright Churchill Jr. and Dorothy Churchill. Her late brother was Wainwright Churchill III. Due to COVID, a family only luncheon will be held Sunday, Aug. 29.
