Michael Keith Burgess, known as Keith, passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on August 23, 1956, in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Great Valley High School in 1975. In 1984, he married Eileen Carney, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage and raised two children.
For nearly 40 years, Keith owned and operated Burgess Landscape. He was a dedicated, hard working business owner who took great pride in what he did. His customers knew him for his honesty, reliability and strong work ethic.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Keith enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his family. He loved listening to music and going to concerts, and he was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He had a soft spot for his and Eileen’s two dogs and spent time tending his tomato garden, with plenty to share with family and friends each summer.
Keith will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Eileen; his children, Lindsay (Adam) and Kyle (Melissa); his grandchildren, Julian, Gemma and Kora; his brothers- and sisters-in-law; his nieces and nephews; and his extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Alleva Funeral Home in Paoli, followed by a service at noon.
