

Born on November 19, 1953, Michael was a lifelong resident of Wayne and Berwyn. He was the son of the late Mike and Gertrude Verguldi and a member of the close-knit Calvarese family. A graduate of Archbishop John Carroll High School, Michael went on to become a small engine specialist employed at some of the top local golf courses.
He will be loved and missed by his devoted wife of 40 years, Cynthia H. Verguldi; children: Alicia, Nicole and Michael-Ryan, sons-in-law Daniel and Matthew, and four amazing grandchildren who were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his brother Thomas, sister-in-law Marty, nieces Jessica and Jackie, nephew Tom, several grand-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
An avid Philadelphia sports fan, Michael enjoyed watching the Eagles, Phillies and Villanova Wildcats basketball games with family and friends in his final years. He will be remembered for his love of Beatles music and Corvettes.
A visitation will be held at Alleva Funeral Home, 1724 E. Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA, 19301, on Thursday, November 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Rd, Wayne, PA 19087, on Friday, November 15, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in his honor to the Berwyn Fire Company or Main Line Health Home Care and Hospice.
