Mildred Hirschle

Mildred “Millie” was born on April 11, 1930 in Philadelphia to Anton and Pauline Schumacher. After graduating from high school and a brief business career, Millie married Alfred Hirschle and became a full-time homemaker and mother to six children. In addition to raising her family; Millie found time to be a Girl Scout leader; an active member in her local parish and a kind and generous neighbor and friend. In the last decade of her life, she found great joy in making new friends in the community at Paoli Pointe.

Millie is survived by her sons John Hirschle, Robert Hirschle, Thomas Hirschle and daughters Christine (Kim) Gilbertson, Susan (Eduardo) Jacome and Nancy (Patrick) Malarkey; her grandchildren Andrew (Sarah) Gilbertson, Susannah Altis; Sarah (Chris) Hirschle, Amy (Dave) Bonislawski, Jennifer McMullan; Peter (Sylvia) Jacome, Liliana Jacome; Alexander Malarkey and Benjamin Malarkey and her great-grandchildren Wesley, Lionel, Colin and Emmett Gilbertson.

Services are scheduled for Monday, December 18, beginning with a visitation at St. Norbert’s 6 Greenlawn Rd Paoli, PA 19301 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral mass with burial at Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doctors without Borders or Philabundance.
